    They are Group 18 on the Periodic Table Of Elements, and they have similar characteristics like being all gases. They also have the most valence electrons.

    Noble Gas is a group of chemical elements with very similar properties. Under standard conditions, they are all odorless, colorless gases, with very low chemical reactivity. The six noble gases that occur naturally are helium, neon, argon, krypton, xenon, and the radioactive radon.
    (I couldn't figure out a way to make it any simpler than that)
