Conduction is the transfer of energy through matter from particle to particle. It is the transfer and distribution of heat energy from atom to atom within a substance.Radiation is Electromagnetic waves that directly transport ENERGY through space. Sunlight is a form of radiation that is radiated through space to our planet without the aid of fluids or solids. matt gilley 2nd block
conduction transfers heat through touching the other object to heat it upppp/radiation sends heat through the air like a sun to heat uppp stuff without touching it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! alex gunter 3rd block
Conduction transfers heat by touching the object directly, like a wire touching a light bulb, etc. etc. while radiation heats objects by giving off thermal heat like the sun, a fireplace, a microwave, etc. etc. so basically, Conduction is touchy touchy, feely feely, while radiotion is the opposite.
conduction is when something is touching something and it gets warmer.but radiation is like the sun sending heat raise to something. tristen pierrot 3 block
ok so basically u r asking the differences between conduction and radiatoin. for one we have the names, they are different. another difference is that to gain heat with conduction u have to be touching the object with said heat. with radiation ,however, u dont need to be in contact with the object u are tryin to gain heat from the object. an example of radiation is ,obviosly, the sun. it has EM waves which transmit heat without contact ppphhheeewwwww!!!!!!!! tony jackson 4th block
Conduction is a transfer of heat through a molecular contact. basically, molecules moving faster hit more slowly traveled and transfer some of their energy causing the slow ones to speed up. :)))
Convection is a transfer of heat through fluid motion. chunks or parcels of liquids or gases that are hotter than less dese rise and the cooler ones will sink.
Radiation dous not require the objects to be in contact.

conduction has too touch whatever it's heatinq and radiation doesn't have too touch anythinq that it's heatinq

conduction is fluids, radiation is through the air and involves heat

basically radiation is a form of energy transfer like conduction and convection BUT radiation is the only one that transfers energy in waves

conduction has to do with fluids and radiation is in rays

Radiation transfers energy without having contact, condution has to have contact.

conduction you have to have contact with an object to transfer energy.radiation doesnt.
