Website fun!!!!
Go to Hangman
and play the game.
You must win 3 times then on the blog record the elements you won with, their mystery fact (under the word) and 2 other facts from their element page which is linked on the winning page.
Win#1 Gallium "This element is used as a doping material for semiconductors." 1)It has one of the largest liquid ranges so is used in high temperature thermometers. 2)Gallium easily forms alloys with most metals.
Win#2 Beryllium "All atoms of this element contain 4 protons." 1)Beryllium is relatively transparent to X-rays and is used to make windows for X-ray tubes. 2)Beryllium is also used as a moderator in nuclear reactors.
Win#3 Astatine "This element's chemical symbol is At." 1)The total amount of astatine in the earth's crust is less than 30 grams. 2)There are currently no uses for astatine outside of basic scientific research.
