When doing your lab report what did you find helped your planes travel the longest in the air?

Was it your fabulous folding ability? Did you throw it a special way? Was it because of the wind? What exactly helped the plane? Was yours better than the group you compared to? Why or why not?

  1. a thin airplane and throwing with the wind helped the plane go further, but my groups best plane only went 14 ft so i cant answer this question very well!

  4. Our airplanes, I admit, weren't quite that great, but what seemed to Help it most was wind direction and speed, if we threw it right. The wind would go under the plane and lift it up just enough to make it go further and faster.

  5. I think that wind and the smaller the plane makes its stay up there longer.

  9. I thought it would be helpful if we threw the planes in the direction of the wind.

  16. Obviously my answer is gonna have to be towards the wind, I hate to follow suit, but the wind was a great factor in this experiment.
