Forrest High School's science classes are here. Check out what we know!
Our project is about elements. and we have learned how to make a powerpoint.-Ashley Hasty
carbon, its atomic mass and neutrons protons
Rubidium, it will explode on contact with water
phosphorus,it is in your DNA
Titanium... it is used in artificial hips.
titanium- i have learned it was named after the titan earth gods
it is about neon and i have learned that neon is constantly being used. it is a noble gas and is one of the only elements that are not dangerous
it is about uranium and it had no real uses til nuclear reactors and weapons.
uranium, and it is use in atomic bombs
yttrium and that it qwas discovered in 1794
KryptonIt is a noble gas and is used in slide and movie projectors.I might actually be using it to help present my project.
its about our element and how its impacted the future on a powerpoint
Our project was about Lithium and i learned that it's used as a treatment for bipolar disorder which i thought was kinda cool :)
I learned that lithium can be used in telescope lenses -Shelby H. First Block.
Gold, it is found everywhere, but is not very abundant in quantities.
heluim is the element and its highly flame able
Xenon, when inhaled, causes your voice to deepen like how helium causes your voice to become higher.
yttrium, i learned it can be harmful to lab rats. <3 Ali B.
our project is about Neon and i have learned that its not actually dangerous and is used countless times in the day.
our project is about platinum and i have learned that Annually, only about 133 tons of Platinum are mined, compared to about 1,782 tons of Gold.-Ashley Hasty
carbon and that i dont like projects.
neon and that its not dangerous
carbon, its used in food and soda
Krypton, its used in green and yellow lasers.
Ours was neon and I learned that in it's natural state it is not poisonous.
Our project is about Lanthanum. We have learned many things , but the coolest is that it is used in flints for lighters.
1st block..(cody taylor)..heluim is the element and its highly flame able
our project was about platinum and i learned that only about 133 tons of platinum is mined a year
phosphorus and its used in tracer bullets :D
lithium and it used for many batterys.
our element is boron and i learned it is used in many current laundry detergents
boron, and that it is used in laundry detergents and used to cure arthritis
Platinum ; Not much!
myy project was platinum && i learned that the amount of platinum found is about the size of a normal size living room!! (:
rubidium and when put in water it explodes

XENON great project
