When graphing what do we use each type of graph for?

    pie charts for showing parts of a whole,bar graphs for making quick generalizations,and line graphs to show how things are similiar or different.1/20/11

    When graphing you use a pie chart to show a part of a whole circle,bar graph to show amounts of things,and line graphs show quantities over time.

    Line graph shows how something changes in value, bar graph is a graph were the lenth of a gar represent a certain amount, and pie graph shows fractions of a whole.

    circle graphs are for percents, line graphs are for time, and bar graphs are for comparing amounts.
